Student Action Summit

Guide to McCosh Launch Party

When: February 15, 2018

Where: Frist Center East TV Lounge

What: Join PSRJ for the official launch of our Guide to McCosh! The Guide to McCosh is a 40 page guide to sexual and reproductive health services at Princeton University. At the launch party, we will have copies of the guide available with PSRJ eboard members on hand to discuss the guide. We will also have bubble tea, trivia (based on info in the guide), and special Planned Parenthood/PSRJ swag to give away! It's sure to be a great time!

#Fight4BirthControl Petition

When: November 28, 2017 - December 1, 2017

Where: Frist Center

What: Continuing our campaign to ensure access to contraception for Princeton Students in the face of attacks on access by the Trump administration, PSRJ collected almost 300 signatures on a petition to Princeton's administration.

Menstruation Celebration

When: November 17, 2017

Where: Frist Center East TV Lounge

What: PSRJ hosted our second annual Menstruation Celebration with PSGE! Featuring education, games (tampon toss), themed food (vagina cupcakes, bloody tampons chocolate covered pretzels) and much more!

#Fight4BirthControl Photo Campaign

When: November 7-9, 2017

Where: Frist Center

What: PSRJ held a whiteboard photo campaign in which students were invited to complete the sentence "I need access to birth control because..." And then take a picture with their completed sentence on the whiteboard. In this way, we created a photo petition to show support for the continued coverage of contraception, and opposition to the Trump administration's rollback of the mandate.

Debate Watch Party

When: October 10, 2017

Where: Frist Center West TV Lounge

What: PSRJ hosted a debate watch party for the NJ Gubernatorial debate, to show our support for (now Governor-elect) Phil Murphy!

Get Yourself tested

When: May 1, 2017; 8-10pm

Where: Frist Center East TV Lounge

What: An event in partnership with USG to destigmatize STI’s and STI testing with a polaroid photo booth, boba, and, as always, lots of Trojan condoms.

Contreception Convention

When: March 3, 2017; 2-4pm

What:An event with information about how to have safer sex, themed snacks, and contraception-related games.

Planned Parenthood Valentines Day of Action

When: February 11, 2017; 2-4pm

Where: Frist Center East TV Lounge

What: Students wrote “valentines” – letters to legislators thanking them for supporting Planned parenthood’s crucial work, or urging them to do so if they do not already. About 30 students in attendance. More than 50 letters sent.

Women’s March on Washington

When: January 21, 2017; 2-4pm

Where: The National Mall, Washington, DC

What:PSRJ participated in the January 21, 2017 Women’s March in solidarity with women worldwide to stand up for women’s rights, reproductive rights, and other human rights issues.

Menstruation Celebration

What: An event in partnership with Princeton Students for Gender Equality to celebrate periods, break the menstrual taboo, enjoy themed foods and play period-themed games.
